Welcome to our course on Safeguarding Adults Levels 1 & 2.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Understand what safeguarding adult means.
- Understand the nature and scope of harm to and abuse of adults at risk.
- Recognize a range of factors that feature in adult abuse and neglect.
- Understand the importance of demonstrating dignity and respect when providing healthcare services.
- Know what to do when or if abuse of an adult is suspected and be aware of relevant policies and procedures to safeguard them.
- Understand when to use emergency systems to safeguard adults.
- Maintain accurate, complete and updated records.
- Understand the purpose of safeguarding adult investigations.
- Understand how to raise concerns about local whistleblowing policy procedures.
- Understand the risk factors for radicalization.
The training will be provided using video, audio, and text formats. You will be tested with an MCQ test at the end of the training session, which must be cleared to receive the certificate. In case you are unable to answer all the questions correctly, you may retake the course and complete your test successfully to receive your certificate.
The test takes approximately 2 hours.
