By the end of the course you will:

  • Define what a duty of care is.
  • State what their responsibilities and accountabilities are in regards to their duty of care.
  • Have an understanding of the NMC new code of practice.
  • Understand the consequences of failing to meet their duty of care.
  • Understand how a duty of care aids safe legal practice whilst acting in the best interests of their patient.
  • Have an awareness of the legal framework that underpins their duty of care.

In order to effectively demonstrate the importance of duty of care during treatment of a patient, this training module includes writings and graphs.

Once done with the training session, you will be presented with a multiple choice questionnaire with questions regarding the training you have gone through. The MCQs must be answered correctly in order to pass the course and proceed further.

If your answers to the given questions are incorrect, you’ll be given another chance to retake the course and pass the test in order to receive the course completion certificate.

On an average, the course takes 2 hours for its completion.

Thank you for trusting ICS UK. We hope you find the session informative. Here’s wishing you great success in the future.
